The Los Padres Artist Guild is holding the 5th Annual Studio and
Garden Tour on Saturday June 14th, 2008!!! Come view artworks
by over 60 local Central Coast Artists!!! To attend all you need
to do is purchase a $10 booklet which admitstwo people!
The booklets have a map to guild you to the studios containing
approx. 67 artists!! Hope to see you there!!! I will be a guest artist

Who Jennifer McDuffie IS: Biography

Artists Statement

I believe a painting should speak to a person in depth through color and emotion. Everyone has their own uniqueness and experiences that contribute to their loves and dislikes of artwork. That is why, I feel it is so hard to catagorize the term "Art." My artworks show my love of light, nature and visions from my vivid dreams. Throughtout my art career, I have been asked the question over and over again, "where do your ideas come from." All my inspirations come from the surrounding landscape. Even the dreams I have are of places near me that are twisted into a fantasy scape. I have seen people walk straight through crowds to see my works because the bold vibrant colors caught there attention. I have many art patrons that have told me the reasons they love my artworks. They include how my art spoke to them, how full of life and moody they are, and the high quality of work I produce. For two years I worked at Gold Coast Art 'n Frames as a picture framer. There, I incorporated my professional skills as a framer and the archival materials into the finishing touches of my artwork. I am now working on a Forest series inspired by the Figueroa Mountains. My future goal is to venture out into new areas to display and sell my artwork.
